Application and General Information

A thread will be made for your application in our private discussion forum.
If your application is accepted, you will become a trial member and be expected to attend events like a full member.
Any DKP earned during this period will carry over for you to use as a full member provided you pass trial. Please remember that this is the time for you to show us who you are and is a critical time for you to pass/fail.
During the 2nd week your application will go into the final voting period which lasts until the end of your trial. During this time members will vote on your application taking into account your attendance, attitude and ability. Finally, officers will look at the member feedback and votes and debate whether or not the trial is a pass and will become a full member. Your first point of contact with us is your application and is also our first impression of you as a player, so please include as much detail as possible.

Also note:

• Member are advised to download Raidcall.Member are recommended to log on Raidcall, even if it's only to listen, in order to communicate/coordinate faster
• Mog Knights does not tolerate any rude /say or emotes to other ls/FC/players. When you join Mog Knights you are representing us in public and we aim to uphold a good reputation with our fellow players.
• If a Mog Knights member is caught botting or we hear that someone is botting and it can be verified, they will be removed from the FC.
• Account sharing with people outside of the free company is forbidden.
• Member with a low attendance rating will be demoted to inactive member, and unable to vote on trials.
  Inactive member will also be unable to sign up for events until they tell a Officer that they'll be able to attend normally again.
  Due to being unable to sign up for events, these member will only be able to join a party if there's still a free spot remaining.

Ultimately, it is our decision as to who gets a trial and who does not. If there is something you wish to bring to the attention of the officers, please PM them or talk with them in the game.

Harassment

If any Mog Knights member is reported of harassing another member (and is verified), it is grounds for immediate termination. Mog Knights does not tolerate any kind of behavior that spreads negative energy to the rest of the group. First offense will be a public warning about the incident, and if there's a second offense, the officers will deliberate about your future with the Free Company. This applies to all levels of Mog Knights membership.

Trial Member

Trial aren't eligible to lot items until they become full members, unless no full member wants it.
Trial members will accumulate points the same way as full members during their trial and all points will be carried over if they become a full member for them to spend on items.

• The Trial Period is two weeks,the voting will be during the second week.
• During the second week of your trial,full members will discuss on your performance and vote. The decisions will be based on the voting.
• If you get accepted for a Trial, but you didn't reach lvl 50 yet, we'll give you the time to hit lvl 50 and gear up before starting the trial while being in our Free Company which will allow us to get to know each other already.

Failed trial members will be able to re-apply to Mog Knights after two weeks from when their trial has ended. The same rule applies for rejected applications.

Extension Trial

Trials who haven't passed but we saw some potential will be able to stay in the FC for the period between their trial end and the start of their 2nd trial (2 weeks), if they want a second chance. That way, we can help trials improve their gears/skill and they wont have to leave and then reapply after two weeks.

Dungeon and End Game content

Most content will be free (You'll be allowed to do it without the FC), however some content will be FC-only.
If member are sitting out while we do an instance, they can also use the content finder.
But we're aiming to do endgame together so make sure you're ready for a invite after.


You are expected to come prepared with any food, potions and other items you might need and to have your gear repaired.

Job Priority

We have a job priority system in place and it works as follows:

• As a member of Mog Knights you will choose 1 main job and 1 second main. These are the jobs you will be expected to play during FC events.
• You will have a chance to change your job priority once every 3 months. This gives members who have got a new job to 50 a chance to change their priority and begin working towards new gear for that job.
• Within the three month period, if member don't want to wait until the next reset,they'll be allowed to change their priority, once every period for 50 DKP.

The Job Priority you choose also affects the DKP distribution (next post)

DKP distribution - Drop Rules

Each member accumulates DKP points based upon participation, with certain items costing a certain amount of points.

Members will receive points in the following way:

• 1 DKP for being here at the gathering time of a event.
• 1 DKP for each hour attended in the event.
• 1 DKP for being here at the end time of a event based on the schedule.

DKP will be capped on 400 points, once you hit 400 points you'll have to spend some before being able to get new points.

For pug-able content, if we do it as a FC, the DKP costs of gear will vary between 10 and 20 points, the items from chests/drops during the dungeon will cost 10, Items that are dropped or in the chests after beating the boss will cost 20.

Basically, in this case we're charging only for the "Priority", however during FC-only content each Item will have a different price, depending on how good that item is.

Priority on an item is based on the members main job and second main.
Members will acquire DKP through our FC event and be awarded points which can be tracked in our DKP chart.

If you buy a item with DKP, if its for your Main or 2nd Main, you'll pay the base price of the item as seen on our item value lists, for all other jobs the price will be increased by 20%,
Example: Darklight Body cost 100DKP,if you want it for a job that is neither your main or 2nd main,it will cost 120DKP.

Keep in mind that main class takes the priority over second main at all times.
Example: A member has WHM>BRD as Job priority. An item drops that is BRD priority, they wont be eligible to lot if there is a BRD main in the party and they want to lot that item.

Example: an item is WAR>DRG>PLD
If we have a WAR second main but no WAR on main, the item will go down through the priority, first to DRG and then PLD. If no one with DRG or PLD as their main wants to lot the item, then eligibility opens up to our members second mains and follows the same course of action.

If we have more then one member with main priority on an item in the party, then the member with the highest current DKP takes priority.
Example:
Member A: Main class WHM with 10DKP
Member B: Main class WHM with 8DKP
WHM priority item drops and the price is 5DKP
Member A has priority because he has the highest points.

If we have more than one member with main priority in a party and they have the same DKP who would all like to lot the same item then they'll roll for that Item.

Trade-able items will go to the FC bank (If no one in the Party/Alliance wanted it) and held for a short time and eventually sold if there is no demand for it from our members. If a member buys an item for DKP that is trade-able then that item becomes their own and later can do what they want with it (i.e sell or give to another FC member).

• Only scheduled events will profit you with DKP.
  In other words if you decide to do a raid on none scheduled days you will get NO DKP for that.
• If you're afk for most of the time during an hour, you wont get the point associated with that hour.

Paycheck

Items being sold will be split between members who attended the event.in which it dropped. Keep in mind there is a tax on selling items so it will work as follows:
Sold price - Tax / XX Member at event

Member are eligible for paychecks as long as they have been here for at least half of the event.

Event Schedule

Our FC events start at 7:30pm CET / CEST (Central European Time)

We have a event schedule on site and you must place your name in this event to be eligible for DKP, and to be guaranteed a spot in the event, Member who didn't sign up for a event will only get Invited if there's a free spot in the Party.
Events will be added to the event schedule at least 1 week in advance, so there's plenty of time to sign up.

You just need to Click on the Schedule and register your name on the event.

Just to clarify,if you sign up and you are being late,you will still get for DKP. ( You can choose different options if you are unsure or not, or even leave a note in the comment when you register in the Schedule.)

Yes we may be able to fit you in and a member may drop but he is not required to give up his position for you if you didn't add your name to the event, so its important you add it.

please be aware if you do not add your name in the schedule and then decide you want to attend and log on then you will receive no points and you also may not be able to get a spot.
